Plz tell me about Vitro Culture
The technique or process of maintaining or cultivating cells or tissues derived from a living organism in a culture medium. In this technique research studies are performed with microorganisms, cells, or biological molecules outside their normal biological system and experiments are performed in labware such as test tubes, flasks, petri dishes etc. It has also been a major tool of Plant Biotechnology.

Lesson 13
DNA is a polynucleotide chain(containing more then 50 deoxyribonucleotide) and oligonucleotide(less then 50 deoxyribonucleotide) plz sir give me example of oligonucleotide???Oligonucleotides are short nucleic acid polymers used in research, genetic testing and forensics. The common example of oligonuclotides are the oligonucleotide probes which are short stretches of single-stranded DNA or RNA used to detect the presence of complementary nucleic acid sequences (target sequences) by hybridization. Oligonucleotide probes are usually labelled, for example with radioisotopes, epitopes, biotin or fluorophores to enable their detection.

Giants of biotechnology, please tell me the what is the mean of Revenue and assets??as the instructor tells about the companies they discuss about these terms but I can not understand it.
please tell me Thanks -

please tell me ThanksRevenue is the income or earnings of a company. It is the money or money’s value earned by a company in the course of its business through its operations or by selling something it owns. While an asset is a resource with economic value that an individual, corporation, or country owns or controls with the expectation that it will provide a future benefit.

plz clearly explain the work of monoclonal antibody Tysbri???
Tysabri is a medication used to treat multiple sclerosis and Crohn’s disease. It is a humanized monoclonal antibody against the cell adhesion molecule α4-integrin. It is given by intravenous infusion every 28 days. It has proven effective in treating the symptoms of both diseases, preventing relapse, vision loss, cognitive decline and significantly improving quality of life in people with multiple sclerosis.

how blood vessles grow artificial method
Although this research will further need proper experiments in future but still some work has been done. Three basic elements are generally required for the construction of an artificial vessel: a structural scaffold, made either of collagen or a biodegradable polymer; vascular cells, and a nurturing environment.

AOA sir, sir please guide me how thymine converted in uracil in RNA structure? thanx

@Asiya-Hanif said in BT301 Lesson-1-14 Discussion:
AOA sir, sir please guide me how thymine converted in uracil in RNA structure? thanx
Some researchers say that Uracil DNA glycosylases, specifically remove uracil from DNA that results from spontaneous deamination of cytosine. Mutant cells that lack this enzyme have a high rate of G≡C to A꞊T mutations. This glycosylase does not remove uracil residues from RNA or thymine residues from DNA. The capacity to distinguish thymine from uracil which is the product of cytosine deamination is necessary for the selective repair of the later taht may be one reason why DNA evolved to contains thymine instead of uracil while RNA contains uracil instead of thymine.

What is Nucleosides???

What is Nucleosides???
-
A nucleoside consists of a nitrogenous base covalently attached to a sugar (ribose or deoxyribose) but without the phosphate group.
-
Nucleosides are glycosylamines that can be thought of as nucleotides without a phosphate group. A nucleoside consists simply of a nucleobase (also termed a nitrogenous base) and a five-carbon sugar ribose whereas a nucleotide is composed of a nucleobase, a five-carbon sugar, and one or more phosphate groups.
