How can I change the IMEI of an iPhone?

International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) is a special 15 digit number given by the manufacturer to every single smartphone for verification purposes. You can easily reveal the IMEI number of your device using any one of the three ways listed below:

Open the dialer on your phone and enter “*#06#” on the device. Tap on the call button to discover the 15 digits IMEI number of your device.
If you have your device box, then look out for your device’s IMEI number on the box.
On your iPhone device enter the settings menu, tap on General option. After that click on the About option. The screen will exhibit all the device information, including the IMEI number of your device.
How to Change the IMEI number if your device?

You can not permanently modify your device’s IMEI number but you definitely can amend it temporarily. But this can only be done if you have jailbroken your device. However, you must know that by changing the IMEI number the warranty of your iDevice will be demolished. Plus it is illegal to change the IMEI number of a stolen phone.

Steps to change the IMEI number of your device:

Use the method above to discover the IMEI number of your device. After that ensure that your device is jailbroken or else this method won’t work.
Now download the PC tool ZiPhone software on your PC and extract the folder package.
Now force your phone to recovery mode. To do so, press the Sleep/Wake and Power button simultaneously. Hold the buttons till the Apple logo is visible on the screen.
As soon as you will release the buttons, your screen will show the iTunes logo with a cable. Now is the time to connect your iDevice to your PC.
Enter the folder of extracted files on your PC and click the “Shift” button. Now right-click on the empty area and select the option of “Open Command Window Here”

Wait for the command window to begin. Type ZiPhone on the command window.

Tap the “Enter” button and then type Ziphone -u -i a123456789012345 . Replace 123456789012345 to the desired IMEI number you want to set up.

Now, wait patiently for 3 to 4 minutes. Your device will reboot on its own.
I hope this answer is helpful to you.
