You can install any of the latest versions.Autodesk has the policy to keep the latest versions for the student account. This course was recorded in the earlier Batch and AutoCAD 2016 version was installed for beginners because of its interface that is easy to understand and work with.
Now, if you download any latest version that is available on Autodesk, then it is not necessary to switch towards the 2016 version. As the latest version has advanced features than the earlier one. The interface is almost the same.
Before installing any latest version, kindly check your system’s requirement (either this latest version is compatible with your system or not) by visiting this link:
Kindly check the specifications first and make sure to turn off the system’s Firewall before starting the installation.
