Overseas Exam Software and related materials have been made available for download. Please make sure to install latest exam application available on the link given below. You must follow the sequence of instructions given below for smooth and error free installation:

For downloading, login with your VULMS student ID and password.
Download and install materials one by one. i.e. VUTES and TeamViewer
After installation, you must go through the “User Manual” for know how to attempt your paper.
An icon will be visible on your desktop. Please double click the icon to run the demo test. You may test your installation by joining any of the following sessions till August 22, 2019 during the specified session timings as mentioned below:
Session 1: 08:00 A.M to 10:00 A.M (PST)
Session 2: 11:00 A.M to 01:00 P.M (PST)
Session 3: 02:30 P.M to 04:30 P.M (PST)
Session 4: 05:00 P.M to 07:00 P.M (PST)
Session 5: 07:30 P.M to 09:30 P.M (PST)
Please use your student ID as login and password for login into the exam application to check demo test. For example

After completing the demo test, you must confirm your installation status by clicking the link “Click here to confirm your installation status” given on http://qb.vu.edu.pk

Federal Minister for Information Technology (IT) & Telecom Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddique visited Virtual University of Pakistan (VUP), M.A Jinnah Campus (Head Office), Lahore on July 26, 2019. He was received by Mr. Ehsen Zafar Puri, Director ICT, VU along with Mr. Ahmer Sayeed Qazi, Director Administration VU, Mr. Babar Ali, General Manager VUTV, Mr. Farhan Sadiq, Director Campuses, VU, Mr. Zafar Alvi, Project Director DigiSkills, Dr. Abdul Majid, Director Quality Enhancement, VU and Mr. Muhammad Tahir Malik, Regional Campus Manager , VU.
The Federal Minister visited various departments of the University and was also given a presentation on the functioning and rapid growth of Virtual University. Mr. Khalid Maqbool was also briefed about DigiSkills Training Project. The Federal Minister later talking to media acknowledged the important role of Virtual University for the provision of quality education across Pakistan and abroad. He also appreciated the role of Virtual University for providing access to the knowledge and learning opportunity to the students across the country.

Student Start Up Business Center is a platform at VU to foster entrepreneurial spirit in the students and to provide them conducive environment to nurture their business ideas into successful business ventures. This initiative is supported by Virtual University of Pakistan in collaboration with HEC-Pakistan, and PEP Foundation, USA. SSBC is envisioned to promote entrepreneurship among the students by encouraging them through business ideas competitions, providing them seed money, free office working space, free training facilities and provision of complete ongoing support and guidance to the successful incubates and counseling from the veteran entrepreneurs.
SSBC at Virtual University of Pakistan is inviting business ideas for SSBC Batch-IV. The student or group of students (maximum two) can submit their viable business ideas on the website of SSBC (http://ssbc.vu.edu.pk/Pages/Events.aspx). Who can participate?
· Only currently enrolled active students of Virtual University of Pakistan are eligible to apply for business ideas as per the below given eligibility criteria. Students enrolled in short courses cannot apply.

Minimum required Credit Hours for eligibility
2 years degree program
4 years degree program
· Oversees students and VU employees who are enrolled as VU student are not eligible to apply for SSBC.
Terms & Conditions:
· One student will be allowed to submit only one business idea; either individually or in a team.
· A team should not be comprised of more than two members.
· Each individual/team needs to submit innovative business idea and must not copy from any source.
· Shortlisted business ideas will be invited for submission of full business plans.
· Only practical and financially viable business plans will be shortlisted for presentation.
· The business idea’s financial worth should not exceed more than Rs. 300,000.
You are required to submit your idea in NABC format. To learn NABC approach, you are advised to visit the following links before submitting your ideas.
