CT CM Punjab Naqvi approved Safe City Gujranwala project

Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi’s visit to DHQ Hospital Gujranwala and various other locations in the city. During his visit to the hospital, he observed several issues including inadequate cleanliness, lack of proper facilities for patients, and grievances from the public. The CM ordered an inquiry into the hospital’s management and also visited different wards and facilities within the hospital premises, including the pediatric ward, dialysis center, kidney ward, and emergency block.
Additionally, the CM announced several developmental projects for Gujranwala, including the Safe City Authority project, establishment of a university, and construction of roads. He also inspected the progress of the under-construction burn unit at Gujranwala Medical College and Teaching Hospital and emphasized the need to upgrade laboratories in government hospitals.
In the city, the CM personally inspected various civic amenities, parks, and beautification efforts. He issued a warning to the DG PHA Gujranwala regarding the substandard condition of parks and irregular cleaning protocols, emphasizing the need for immediate rectification.
