Talk about bad timing.

YouTube TV, the live-TV streaming service from YouTube, just went down — right in the middle of the World Cup semi-final England versus Croatia match.

According to the YouTube TV Twitter account, the service is having “streaming issues.”

DownDetector suggests that those issues are limited to the United States. In other words, everyone at their desk trying to secretly watch the game is SOL.

Ouch.

Ouch.

Those counting on YouTube TV are understandably frustrated.

But hey, maybe there’s a silver lining? If YouTube TV doesn’t come back online before the game is over, you won’t have to see your team lose.

UPDATE: July 11, 2018, 1:08 p.m. PDT: According to YouTube TV, service has been restored.
