    Objective:

    To enhance the learning capabilities of the students about:

    • Network Basics
    • Device Naming conventions
    • Types of IPV4 addresses

    Assignment

    Question No. 1

    Suppose a mobile telecommunication company needs to send messages to its different types of mobile users/customers. You are required to select the most suitable message delivery option against each scenario given below:

    a) Company has two types of customers, Post-paid and Pre-paid. Company is going to organize an event in which all of its customers are invited.
    b) Company has introduced a new package for its customers but there is a limitation. This package will be only available for the Pre-Paid Customers who are natives of Lahore City only.
    c) One of Pre- Paid customers generates a service unavailability complaint via message. After resolving the issue, company sends a confirmation message to that customer.

    Following table contains some of the proposed host names to be configured on a Switch. You are required to identify the valid and invalid host names:

    Different types of IPv4 addresses are used for specific purposes. You are required to write the suitable ranges of IPv4 address for each scenario given in the following table:
