As mentioned on Oracle’s website, “The JRE will not show up in the Java Preferences list unless you install the full JDK.”

- Solved to disable the
sudo spctl --master-disable
- Solve after reinstall the Java on MacOS.

Close System Preferences

Copy this command into Terminal. You will be asked for your admin password
sudo spctl --master-disable

Unlock System Preferences > Security or check if the Anywhere button is selected.

Start UBNT Discovery Tool for Mac OS

If you want to maintain the security of the Gatekeeper as Apple dsigned it, copy this command into Terminal
sudo spctl --master-enable
Otherwise just select the option you want.
Ask Ubiquiti to please register the utility with Apple. It’s been four years…
