an you list the official curriculum books or set of books that can be used as a reference for CS101?

I’m not talking about handouts but official CS101 book(s) covering the curriculum.

“An Overview by J. Glenn Brookshear and Dennis Brylow”.

The recommended book is Computer Science: An Overview, Global Edition for this course. You can find it on google or you can buy it from the given link:

Sir, what are the steps, in sequence, involved in processing the data into an output?

Processing depends upon the input provided by the user and the expected outcome. For example, if we want to add 2 numbers than the sum operation will be performed by using following steps:
    • Convert the decimal numbers into binary numbers
    • Perform SUM operation
    • Convert the binary numbers back to decimal numbers
    • Then send desired outcome to any output device
