The students of Sociolinguistics have different opinions about the subject; some find it interesting to study the concepts of language variations, code switching, code mixing and sociolinguistic aspects of language in Pakistan while others may find it quite boring. Being a student of Sociolinguistics, do you find the course interesting in comparison with the other courses you are currently studying? Support your view with arguments.
ORAccording to one view point, language affects society while according to another view society affects language. Which view do you support? Explain.
Write your own views about any one of the given topics. Your comments should NOT exceed 150-200 words.
