Bring Alexa along for the ride.Image: Muse autoBy Team CommerceMashable Deals2018-03-19 16:13:21 UTC
At home, you generally have your hands free. In the car, not so much. But while Alexa has clearly made your casa her casa (she’s even laughing at you these days), she’s nowhere to be found when you need her on the road.
Muse is a crafty little gadget looking to change that — and *gasp* it’s not even made by Amazon.
We’ve written about Muse before, with Pete Pachel saying, “the Muse sounds like the ideal device for iPhone owners who want to bring Alexa to their cars cheaply and easily — especially if you use Alexa for music a lot.”
And now you can get it on sale.
Buy it here for 59.99 (a $70 value) and use coupon code MADMARCH10 for an extra 10% off.
Speak Music is the clever company behind this convenient come up, which has Indiegogo to thank after securing more than $100k in funding. Whether you need to tell a friend you’re running late or skip that one annoying song on your playlist, Muse can help you do this without obtaining a texting-and-driving ticket, as seen here.
All you need to do is pair Muse with your smartphone, plug it into your car, and start bossing Alexa around just like you do at home. The gadget itself is small and convenient, plugging into your car’s AUX or USB ports (or just use Bluetooth.) It helps that Muse is cheaper than other Alexa-powered third-party devices, and the companion app is totally free.
Use Muse to play music, podcasts, get directions, check your calendar, order online, and communicate with your Alexa-powered home devices. It supports Amazon Music, iHeartRadio, Audible, TuneIn, SiriusXM, and more (with Spotify support allegedly in the works).
