Solution:
The internet is considered as a wonderful resource for kids, whether it is online search for helping with their homework, music, social networks, games, videos and more. Most of the kids use internet for connecting with peers as well as to access entertainment and educational resources across the globe. The web opens up new open doors for learning, innovativeness and expression. Research tells us that explosive growth of digital gadgets; smartphones are transforming our kid’s lives at school and home. Their emotional and cognitive development is under a serious threat as well.
A research by UNICEF on this topic demonstrates that utilization of technology is useful for kids’ social connections, empowering them to enhance existing relations and form positive friendships through the web.
Moreover, a report by TRSFPH reveals that youngsters watching various sites or blogs about personal health actually improved their insight and comprehension about different health issues which enabled them to explain their own health problems to make better decisions.
But on the other hand, Internet is packed with “improper content.” Our child may try searching such inappropriate content accidently. In any case, it’s extremely simple to discover if the sites containing the material are not blocked.
Another possibility is to utilize a kids-friendly browser that will block such inadmissible websites for kids. Another suggestion is to place your computer or laptop near to family sitting area so everyone can watch what your child is searching.
Because once kids have more open access to the web, things get even riskier.
Now you have to be concerned about what they are seeing and reading, but also how they are interacting with others.
And then you’ll need to talk with them about now posting personally identifiable information online, learning that not everyone you meet is who they say they are, and avoiding bullying, either as the bully or the victim.Q 2: Highlight any five major moral panics over the internet are being exposed to things that they should not be? Give your opinion and support it logically.
