Question Title GDB
Question DescriptionMs. Azka drew a cheque for Rs. 50,000 in favour of her landlord Mr. Ahmed. The cheque was not presented for payment by Mr. Ahmed within a reasonable time of its issue. Ms. Azka suffered damage of Rs. 30,000 through the delay because the bank failed. Under the provisions of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 describe whether Mr. Ahmed can recover the money in the above circumstances.
Promissory note is a negotiable instrument that is issued when an order needs to be given to the debtor to pay the due amount to the creditor within a stipulated period of time. Do you agree with this statement? Justify your answer with reason in either case.Important Instructions:
