Pakistan minister asks ICC to suspend cricket in NZ after Christchurch shooting

ISLAMABAD: Humans Rights Minister Dr Shireen Mazari on Friday commended the mass shooting at two mosques in New Zealand’s Christchurch that killed multiple people.

Bangladesh cricket team members also visited one of mosques that came under attack.

The minister linked the incident to  Islamophobia   urging  the ICC to take notice of the shooting.

She said the ICC should perhaps suspend international cricket in New Zealand after “this act of terrorism’.

“Condemnable act of terrorism as Islamophobia reaches NZ,” she wrote on Twitter while sharing a news report.
