Nintendo Switch owners were excited when Bandai Namco announced the Dark Souls remastered for Switch, PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, however, Nintendo Switch version of Dark Souls remastered has been delayed.Bandai Namco announced through Dark Souls official Twitter account that Nintendo Switch version of Dark Souls Remastered has been delayed and will release in summer 2018 along with the release of Solaire of Astora amiibo.However, the game has only been delayed for Nintendo Switch and the game will maintain its May 25 release date for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.Due to the nature of causality, we must announce that the Nintendo Switch version of #DarkSoulsRemastered will be pushed back to summer of 2018, and with it, the release of the Solaire of Astora amiibo. PC/PS4/X1 versions will maintain their May 25th release date.With the launch of Dark Souls 3, From Software has announced that it has no plans for another entry in the Dark Souls franchise.According to president Hidetaka Miyazaki, it is time for the team to move on from the franchise, however, he said that as a president he can’t deny the possibility of the return of the franchise.It’s time to move away from the Dark Souls franchise.
