Call of Duty Black Ops 4 has finally been revealed and the PC version of the game has been confirmed to be Battle.net exclusive, however, the PC version will also bring some enhancements that console gamers can only dream of like 4K HDR support and unlocked frame rate.
The PC version of Call of Duty Black Ops 4 is being developed by Beenox and the developers have confirmed that the PC version of the game will come with 4K HDR support and will also feature unlocked FPS and delivering the best PC experience in the process.
However, to take full advantage of these features a powerful rig would be required but, the developers have assured that the game will be very scalable that will result in a smoother gameplay experience even for those who have low or mid-range PCs.
Also, this will be the first Call of Duty to release without a single-player campaign which has many fans disappointed, however, Treyarch has explained why they ditched the single-player campaign.
According to the studio, the single-player campaign was not planned from the get-go and the focus was always on the multiplayer.
When we set out to make this game, we never started with the idea that we would make a traditional campaign,” “That was just not part of our plan. We started from a place that we were gonna make a game that across the board can be playable with friends. That’s been our mission from day one.
Furthermore, the game will also feature a battle royale mode, Blackout. According to the devs, they didn’t try to reinvent the battle royale experience rather than mix and match it to suit “the Black Ops way”.
Call of Duty Black Ops 4 is a first-person multiplayer shooter in development at Treyarch for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
